Takshashila Public School was founded by esteemed saint Tyagi Ji Maharaj with the profound efforts of Mr. Rajkumar Khandelwal and Mr. Arun Khandelwal on May 6, 2000 envisioning the notions of sublime education with versatile development of child to be the nation builder of tomorrow. The school is located in the heart of the city that is at Anta Chauraha.The saga of learning in T.P.S embarked with less than 100 students under the inspirational principalship of Dr. R.K Jain. The sapling of primary school grew taller and stronger in 2007 when the school got affiliated to CBSE BOARD for HIGHSCHOOL and in 2009 for INTERMEDIATE. The maiden appearance of the school manufactured a charismatic result when Atima Goel, a student of class 10th emerged as the district topper. This milestone has enlarged further as later Takshashila produced many dazzling diamonds who have been regional and district toppers. The school is blessed to have had so many champion athletes who have been selected on district and regional levels and have won notable awards. At present, having the strength of more than 2500 students, the school is a perfect hub of modern amenities of auditorium, library, digital classes, advance computer labs badminton court, dance room, music room etc. which facilitate students to evolve themselves in multidimensional ways.
